my friend anne just got back from thailand a few days ago.

anne is a big nerd like me and is rather enamoured with insects. her favourites are preying mantis' because they watch you wherever you go and they box with you. but here, obviously, she has made a new friend.

this is anne and her good friend the large fly in thailand.

i like this a lot.

it's still just shit though.

melbourne museum has a massive bug exhibit, and they have a dung beetle section. they have all these big piles of shit on the ground in there. the made made from elephant shit was the biggest, and the dung beetle that made it was big too.

shit shit shit poo poo poo.

also when blow flies drop dead, if you whack em or whatever, if you don't pick up their body and compost it, it will spew forth a zillion maggotty babies within days.

fucking insects are ace.
