i'm going home
sms at 7am, from bear, on the lands in moruya. best message evers. she reminded me that i've got to go caretake the lands in the last week of october.
so who wants to come with me?
it's a 12 hour bus ride, 30 minutes by ute from the sea, 40acres, borders national park lands, a river runs through it, and home there is a beautiful and rickety old cabin with an awesome fireplace. no electricity, no telelphone and no toilet. we shit in the ground and wash ourselves either in the river or in the old firebath under full moons. there's 5 dogs, a few horses, roos, snakes (mostly friendly fat and lazy) pythons, chooks, a jungle of fruit and nut trees, a massive vegie garden that feeds you everything you could want for (except for things like chocolate). you can get a bus into town each day for 3$. it comes past the lands at 8am, returns around 4pm.
keep in mind, these are wimminslands so it's women only.
i'm an amazing fire cook, bear gave me my badge for it many visits ago. it's a place for healing, loving, playing, working and sleeping.
so. there's plenty of time to think about it. if you want to come with me for the week, let me know and i'll keep you up to date with the plans and whatnot.
