situation report

i am about to consume some sodium nitrate. i am cooking family peasant food (corned beef cooked in garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns, oranges and water). it is kind of exciting because i am smelling the smells of my childhood - like really good smells - this is a special important meal. i had it for birthdays. i just decided to make it because i’m low on food money and it will last a long long time in sandwiches that i can every day. hmm. yummy.

tomorrow afternoon/evening/night i am going to a party in upwey to play with interwebs pals. debauchery and bbq. nice combination, of course. i will take my camera and capture happy and silly things. yay. having a camera when you’re in a situation that’s not familiar is a really good thing for me. it allows me to keep engaged, but to feel removed enough (if necessary) to feel safe.

babe is watching the third season of the L word.

my toes are cold.

time to carve up and feed my soul and body.

(ALSO i need to find out if the sodium nitrate still gives me migraines. experiment. yeah.)
